Thanks to y’all who were able to participate in tonight’s live session. It was a lot challenging due to network issues. For the records, MBGON website is hosted with unlimited bandwidth and data space on one of the largest hosting platforms in the world. However, there are still some technical issues that the hosting company seem to be handling – this may be as a result of an abrupt transfer from a home-based hosting company (due to incompetence) to our current foreign hosts. We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused the contestants and their fans. It can only get better…#MBGONCares

Ebuka, your point is in order. Online followership is not the only criteria used in judging the contestants. Every stage has it’s scoring pattern. If you noticed, from the result recently announced we indicated the criteria ‘by vote count’. The next level might not be by that. There’s a lot of tasks for the contestants and they are all expected to be up and doing on all of them. They do not know what criteria we would adopt for any stage until they see the results. That is why we encourage all contestants to be at their best on every assignment.

Adesuwa, yes we believe we have already achieved 90% of our objectives. Our main objective is to create a platform to celebrate the beauty, poise, personality and charisma of the Nigerian woman. You all are indications that we have achieved a lot. Some of you came in sounding intimidated and shy, but look at everyone today sounding like a champion already! That is achievement for us, we have seen lives changed and queens birthed.
It takes a lot of hardwork and persistence to achieve every great dream. We are working so hard to make sure MBGON makes an unprecedented impression in the minds of the online community.
It was needless asking the contestants to pay for forms. These are people who are looking forward to a better life, it’s only right that you don’t take the little they have.

Olivia, how did you feel when you got a call from MBGON while you were in your village? Should we tell the house what you were doing in the village?

The concept of MBGON is totally innovative, cutting-edge and timely. MBGON has re-conceptualised beauty pageantry. We have taken away a lot of hedges and limitations that would have stopped the average Nigerian girl from taking a shot at limelight. We want every Nigerian girl to have the same opportunity to be who they want to be. MBGON is the first in Nigeria and will always remain the first. Thank you Soledad.
